This module is for construction professionals who have a good understanding of the full range of digital solutions available and the benefits they can bring and would like to explore in more detail which solutions will be best for their business.

It is ideal for managers and decision makers (including financial directors) who are ready to create and implement a robust digital strategy to help them achieve their short- and long-term business goals.

If you are in the early stages of considering using digital tools, you may like to take the ‘Getting Started with Digital Construction’ module before completing this one. If you haven’t completed the previous module, though, this one will still be useful: it will help you understand the bigger picture so you can make better decisions about the best way forward for your organisation.

This module considers the implementation of digital solutions at an organisational and strategic level. It introduces you in more detail to tools and concepts such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), interoperability and the Common Data Environment (CDE) as well as introducing the role of standards in digital technology.

The module is broken down into short sections with plenty of quizzes in a range of styles. It will take around 90 minutes to complete.
